How we did the maths
On average a one hour walk at 3mph burns off 280 calories. It takes 7000 calories to burn off 1kg of dad fat; It would take 7000/280=25 hours of walking to burn off 1kg of dad fat. So 1 hour of walking would burn off (1kg/25hrs) = 0.04kg of dad fat.
Like dogs, grown-ups get cranky when they stay indoors all day long. Unlike dogs – who walk an average of 676 miles a year – dads walk just 197.
Keep them off the furniture. Take a grown-up for a walk.

vgnA marathon...DAD?
My DAD said one day he would like to run a full marathon but the best I've done so far is get him out of bed to go to the shops for milk and bread!Still, I managed to get him up!
One day he'll be ready for a marathon in the near and distant future!
So even just getting up in the morning and going to the shops-walking of course, not taking the car-is an acheivement for anyone! I even once got my DAD to go on his bike now thats an acheivement in it's self, for getting him on it, let alone ridding it!
